 CONVERSION TO NEW CREDIT CARD PROGRAM

WHY IS BAC FLORIDA BANK CHANGING THE EXISTING CREDIT CARD?

To offer a more convenient and friendly on-line features such as:
•    Verify transactions
•    View statements
•    Download statements
•    Make payments
•    Make payments by the telephone


WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PLATINUM AND GOLD CARD?
   
Platinum –
•    Higher limit per transaction and per day
•    Annual Percentage Rate (APR)  is fixed 14.90%*
•    Annual fee $75- Additional card $50 each
•    ATM withdrawal  daily limit $600
 
       Gold –
•    Higher limit per transaction and per day
•    Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is fixed 17.99%*
•    Annual fee $50- Additional card $25
•    ATM withdrawal daily limit $300

* The APR is subject to revision by the Bank. You will receive notice of this change 15 days before it occurs. Terms and conditions are subject to change.

WHEN WILL THIS CHANGE BE EFFECTIVE?

The old credit cards will automatically stop functioning on April 22nd, 2008. The new credit cards will be ready to activate on April 22nd, 2008.


WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO OBTAIN THE NEW CREDIT CARD?

•    First customers will have to qualify for the new credit card. See below.
•    Fill out, sign and send the application to the address indicated.
•    Make sure you select the type of card of your choice.
•    Once reviewed and approved the new credit card will be sent to the customer at the address of record in our system.


WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE NEW CREDIT CARD?

The new credit cards will be delivered as soon as the Bank has processed and approved the new application.


WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE PIN NUMBER?

The PIN number will be delivered to you 3 days after the receiving the plastic.



 
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO ACTIVATE THE NEW CREDIT CARD?

Once you received the new credit card, you will have to activate it by following the instructions included in the credit card remittance letter.


WHEN IS THE DEADLINE DATE TO SUBMITT THE NEW APPLICATION?

There is not deadline. However, if you want a seamless conversion please send the new application as soon as you receive it. 


WHERE CAN I GET AN ADDITIONAL APPLICATION?

You can download the application from our website.


HOW CAN I EXPEDITE THE ISSUANCE OF THE NEW CREDIT CARDS?

The process can be expedited by sending the application by fax 305-569-1540 or legible scanned attachment by email to our electronic banking unit at bacflorida.com.


 
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE NEW CREDIT CARD?

Gold Credit Card

•    A relationship of $50,000 in average balances (the sum of all types of deposits) during the previous six months.
•    The collateral requirements remain the same as in the existing credit card program.

Platinum Credit Card
•    A relationship of $100,000 in average balances (the sum of all types of deposits) during the previous six months.
•    The collateral requirements remain the same as in the existing credit card program.


IF I DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE NEW CREDIT CARD, WHAT WOULD IT HAPPEN WITH MY COLLATERAL?

As stated at the time of issuance, the collateral will remain on hold for three months from April 22nd, 2008 as security for charges that may come in after the expiration date.


WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE BALANCE OF MY CREDIT CARD IF I DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THE NEW CREDIT CARD?

You can pay it directly or applied against the collateral.

DOES THE NEW CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR HAVE SPEAKING SPANISH CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVES?

Yes.


WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET AN ADDITIONAL CREDIT CARD?

Include this request in the application.


WILL THE ADDITIONAL CARDS HAVE THE SAME NUMBER?

No, they will have different numbers.


WHERE WILL THE NEW CREDIT CARD BE ACCEPTED?

Wherever Visa is accepted.


DOES THE NEW CREDIT CARD CREATE A CREDIT HISTORY IN THE US?

No, it does not.
