Q: What is Mobile Banking with Check Deposit?
A: BAC Florida Bank Check Deposit allows you to deposit checks to any of your BAC Florida Bank checking, savings and money market accounts using the camera on your mobile phone. You must send an Internal Electronic Message via My e-BAnC requesting access to the Check Deposit service. If access is granted, using the My e-BAnC Mobile application for the iPhone®* or Android*, login to online banking, and select the “More” icon (represented by three dots) at the bottom. Select the “Deposit” option and then the account where you would like to deposit the check, enter the amount of the check and take a picture of the front and back of the check, tap on “Deposit Check” and the deposit is complete!


Q: What do I need in order to use BAC Florida Bank Check Deposit?
A: To use the BAC Florida Bank Check Deposit service you must have the following:

  • An active BAC Florida Bank account with access to Online Banking with Mobile Banking enabled.
  • A Mobile Device with a supported camera and download the My e-BAnC Mobile application on such device
  • The most recent version of My e-BAnC Mobile application for the iPhone* or Android*.  The Check Deposit service offered by BAC Florida Bank is not available without the iPhone* or Android* apps.

Q: Where do I find the Check Deposit option in “My e-BAnC Mobile” application?
A: Select More (three dots at the bottom right) and choose Deposit.


Q: Who is eligible to use BAC Florida Bank Check Deposit?
A: The Mobile Banking Service is available to Consumers only who are enrolled in or are eligible to enroll in our Online Banking Services and have:

  • the most recent My e-BAnC Mobile application for iPhone* or Android* and have enrolled in BAC Florida Bank Mobile Banking;
  • an active personal BAC Florida Bank account with a positive balance for at least 180 days;
  • no returned deposited items (chargebacks) in the last 180 days;
  • demonstrated financial responsibility with all BAC Florida Bank accounts.

Q: How do I request Check Deposit?
A: Send an Internal Electronic Message via Online Banking to activate your Check Deposit service. Please specify the accounts you would like to enroll.

Q: May I enroll more than one account for Check Deposit?
A: Yes. You may enroll as many checking, savings and money market accounts as you like for Check Deposit as long as you qualify for the service.

Q: Do I need to use a deposit slip to make a deposit through Check Deposit?
A: No. We will use what is called a substitute (or electronic) deposit slip to post the deposit to your account. You will only need to take a picture of the front and back of the check being deposited.

Q: Should I endorse my check before taking a picture?
A: Yes. Checks not properly endorsed may be returned unpaid.  Additionally, be your account number must be written in the back. Please keep in mind that BAC Florida Bank does not accept any checks with double endorsement.

Q: What type of checks can I deposit with Check Deposit?
A: Checks made payable to you and drawn on a bank within the United States can be deposited through Check Deposit. Some business size checks (the long ones) may not work with Check Deposit.
The following examples are types of payments/checks which cannot be deposited through Check Deposit:

  • Money Orders
  • Traveler’s Checks
  • Foreign Checks (not drawn on a US bank)


Q: Are there limits for deposits made through Check Deposit?
A: Check Deposit limits are four (4) checks on any given day for a total not to exceed $1,200 per day and more than ten (10) checks on any given month for a total not to exceed $5,000 unless otherwise agreed to by the Bank in its sole discretion.

Q: When will funds be made available to me from deposits made by Check Deposit?
A: Check Deposits will generally be made available to you on the business day following the deposit date. Deposits are subject to verification. Provisional credit is not granted for Check Deposits (for cut off times, please see the next question).

Q: What is the cut off time?
A: The cut off time is 5PM for checks to be available on the next business day. Any checks deposited after 5 PM, will be credited to your account on the second business day following the deposit date.

Q: What do I do with the check after I deposit it through Check Deposit?
A: Once you verify that the funds have been applied to your account correctly, you should shred the check.
